damn!!! reading 'bout all these good times is another reason i always say i was born in the wrong generation, i'm only 20 and only got into the dead in the past 2 years (a friend bought "skeletons" cd thinking it would thump in his car stereo, was thoroughly dissapointed and gave it to me, changed my life) unfortunately at that point jerry was dead...tho i have had great times at the "spin-off's" shows, but they ain't the same, thankfully i got the shows on the archive!!! long live the string genious, jerry garcia!

hang in there, Candyman81. Good times/vibes are everywhere, you just have to see with loving eyes. Peace, my young friend.

P.S. Can't resist telling a story from the ole days: Balmy night, rolling to the 3/24/93 show in Chapel Hill (my first, I think) drinking magic OJ in the back of a suburban w/ some excited buddies; walk-running into the Dean Dome, taking our seats in the rafters high above Jerry clad in the black tee. Everything else melted away but that band and their tunes. One of those dreamy nights.
